Hello! Today we would like to show you a recipe for pop tarts!

you will need:
Pie pastry
Jam or purée of your choice
sugar (optional)
Barbie mate (optional)
small, sharp knife
rolling pin or if you don't have one, use a roll of glad wrap!
teaspoon
fork
baking tray
oven

First of all, cut the pastry in half

Secondly, cut it the other way several times so you have 10 mini squares

now get your rolling poin and roll one of the squares out. (If you are using glad wrap you may need to cut some off eventually)

now on the flat pastry, put your filling on one half.

now fold the side without the filling over like this:

now use the fork to seal it. Lightly press down on the edges of the pastry gently, but hard enough to show a mark.

now put your uncooked pop tart onto the baking tray using the small knife or the barbie mate. repeat the last 5 steps for the rest of the squares

onece they are all on the baking tray, turn the oven to 180 degrees celsius then put the tray im the oven. take out the tray when the edges are brown.

when you have taken them out, put them on the plate and sprinkle them with sugar. wait for them to cool and enjoy!

I hope you enjoy your home made pop tarts! our next recipe will be udon noodle soup! But for now, Bye!
